Fresh, Local Food Is Coming to Discovery West

Central Oregon Locavore is bringing a new neighborhood marketplace to Discovery West, making it easier to shop for fresh food from more than 185 regional farmers, ranchers and makers. Located within walking or biking distance of home, Locavore West will connect the community with the people who grow, raise and create food throughout Central Oregon.

Every purchase will make a local impact, with approximately 65 cents of every dollar going directly back to regional producers. More than a market, Locavore West will be a place where local food, community and sustainability come together.

Construction is underway, with an opening planned for late fall 2026. To help cover rising construction costs, Locavore is working to close a final $100,000 funding gap. Donations of any size will help complete the marketplace and open its doors to the community.
