A new Pilates studio – Form Pilates – has just opened its doors in Discovery Corner. The studio, owned and operated by Rachel Day, offers private and duet sessions, along with small, personalized classes, in the beautiful new space located at 1216 NW Skyline Ranch Road suite 100 next to Harper House Design.
Rachel Day, owner of Form Pilates, has taught Pilates for 11 years, and previously owned a studio in Salt Lake City. She and her husband relocated to Bend in 2022 in search of the mountain town lifestyle and have since fallen in love with their west Bend neighborhood. Rachel said, “We are so grateful to call Bend home and have admired the community being built in Discovery West and the active lifestyle it reflects. I had been eyeing the Discovery Corner suites when they first went up, as it seemed like such a natural place to grow my business in Bend. I’m ecstatic that the perfect space was available when I decided the time was right to take the next step with Form, and I’m so excited to share my expertise and grow my business with the community.”
The studio has a total of five reformers with towers, which most studios in town currently do not offer. This means Form workouts are able to provide a larger variety of exercises and apparatuses tailored to its diverse clients’ needs.
Form Pilates focuses on building strength, mobility, and longevity. Rachel works with Bend’s active community to help them gain power and endurance while improving flexibility, so they can keep doing what they love for years to come.
With her advanced certifications and background in post-surgical rehabilitation, Rachel takes pride in teaching her clients about their bodies and how to move with intention through hands-on instruction and correction. As such, she will be keeping her classes small and approachable with a max class size of five students, delivering a personalized workout setting.
