A great cup of coffee and a spot on the pet-friendly patio is an excellent start to any day. Thump Coffee at The Grove is a Discovery West favorite and a great specialty coffee or classic brew will set you up for a great day.
Well-caffeinated and ready to stretch your legs and spend time outdoors? Discovery Park, located between Discovery West and the NorthWest Crossing neighborhood, has a 3-acre lake with 12 acres of developed park, about 25 acres of open space, and tons of room to play with your furry friend.
For some exercise, the park offers a variety of paved paths for you to walk or run on, stopping at one of the many water fountains along the way. The park also has a fenced-in off-leash area where dogs can roam freely and make new friends!
What sounds better than cooling off with a refreshing beverage and your favorite pup to end the day?
Several breweries in the area have pet-friendly patios and seating areas. Our two west side favorites are Crux Fermentation Project and 10 Barrel Brewing Co. Both spots have a great selection of craft beers, food menus and lots of head pats and ear skritches for the four-legged guests.
