The western zodiac is a collection of these twelve constellations. The foundation of western astrology, these constellations appear to move on a path in the sky called the ecliptic as the Earth rotates. Can you spot Leo? Leo, the Nemean Lion killed by Hercules, is one of the most clearly visible constellations in the sky. The best month to view it in Bend is in April, but it’s visible in late March through early June.
