We are currently constructing a bridge that will extend the existing Skyline Ranch Road into the new Discovery West neighborhood. This 70′ bridge will accommodate vehicles over the extension of Discovery Park to the east and allow pedestrian access under the bridge for park users.
Yesterday, eleven 70′ beams were set in place to serve as the foundation for the bridge deck. It was an operation that involved 11 trucks, 2 cranes and lots of workers to ensure the beams were properly set.

Bridge construction completion is anticipated by the end of May 2020 and Skyline Ranch Road will open shortly thereafter once the City of Bend accepts the improvements. We look forward to sharing more updates and milestones as Discovery West takes shape.
