A lot has happened in our Bend, Oregon neighborhood since our last development update two months ago. The first phase of the community is now home to several homeowners who have recently closed on their new residences. It’s exciting to see our neighborhood take shape with this essential ingredient: neighbors!
Phase Two streetscapes are maturing as the builders in our Discovery West Builders Guild put together their latest creations. Before we know it, we will have new residents in this part of the neighborhood as well.
Looking ahead, Phase Three is moving along nicely with infrastructure work nearly complete. The sewer and water lines are already in, with dry utilities well underway. We expect paving and curb work to begin later this month which will help this newest part of the neighborhood feel more defined. Our “insider sources” tell us that we are on track to complete the foundational work on this phase by the beginning of summer.
Phase Three includes 25 new homesites which our builders will be purchasing in our planned lottery event in a few weeks. We expect them to move forward with building plans and construction later in 2021. Our sales team at Harcourts The Garner Group tell us that the Discovery Pod has been a popular spot over the past few weeks. Their agents staffing the Pod have been busy receiving visitors who are interested in home ownership in the Bend, Oregon neighborhood of Discovery West. Seven homes have closed since the beginning of the year, many more are in some stage of the sales process, and builders are expected to place some in-progress Phase One and Two homes on the market soon.
