Last night we had the opportunity to present our Discovery West master plan to the City of Bend Planning Commission. As one of the first property owners in the 2016 Urban Growth Boundary expansion areas to go through the land use process and eventually annexation, we were pleased to receive such positive response from planning commissioners, city staff and the public about about our plan. We started imagining a master plan for this property nearly eight years ago, so achieving this first milestone was exciting for our team.
In a unanimous decision by the four commissioners in attendance, the master plan was recommended for approval and will be brought before the Bend City Council for final approval in the next few months.
