Discovery West on the 2021 COBA Tour of Homes

The Central Oregon Builders Association Tour of Homes is back, and we couldn’t be more excited. Every year, this two weekend-long event showcases the best Central Oregon has to offer, in all categories and varieties of homes. One of our Discovery West Guild Builders, Curtis Homes, has a home in our neighborhood that will be part of the Tour.

It is the building company’s fourth year participating in the Tour, and its Discovery West home is a great example of their commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Just a few of the features of this 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, two-story home include: an open living floor plan and vaulted ceilings with exposed beams; floor to ceiling stone fireplace; stunning natural light; private courtyard with firepit; and so much more! Like all homes in Discovery West, it is Earth Advantage Certified for energy efficiency and sustainability.

That’s not all: they have really dressed up this home for the Tour with a “discovery” theme to match the neighborhood. You’ll even have the opportunity to take a selfie with a full-size cutout of Annie Londonderry, one of our Women of Discovery, and the first woman to cycle around the world. More bike-related fun will be had – stay tuned, and come visit to find out more.

Located on NW Mayer Place, this home is #14 in the official COBA Tour of Homes guide, available online here: https://www.cobatourofhomes.com/2021-tour-of-homes/  While the home has already been sold, you can definitely get a sense of the type of attention to detail and high quality you can expect from a home built by one of our Builders Guild members.

The Tour has become a “rite of passage” for many new communities in Bend, and we are pleased to be able to participate this year, thanks to Curtis Homes. It’s the perfect reason to come out and take a look at Discovery West, and explore just one of our diverse homes, up close and personal.
