Last week, all 19 of our Discovery West Builders Guild members safely gathered for our Phase 2 lottery at the Tower Theatre in Bend, Oregon. The spacious venue allowed all those in attendance to stay safely distanced, and everyone wore masks as we got down to the exciting business of taking the next step in our neighborhood.
In Phase 2, there were 51 homesites available and all were spoken for by the builders. With the growth and momentum that the real estate market in Bend, Oregon is experiencing, there was excitement in the air. Already, our sales partners at Harcourts The Garner Group and our Guild Builders themselves have received quite a bit of interest in this phase of homes from potential homebuyers.
Please check back with us, as our interactive map that identifies Phase 2 homesite selections will be updated in November after the plat is recorded. Builders will close on their selected lots by the end of the year, and then the clock begins ticking toward more home completions: they have 12 months from closing to submit plans and receive formal approval by the ARC in order to begin construction!
